We all know that advertising is very important, in building an online business. The question is are you going to spend big money like they do in other media sources in order to create an awareness and presence for yourself and your business, or are you going to go the FREE route? Free is great isn't it? It's kinder to the pocket and in today's economical climate anything to stop us from dipping our hands into our pockets is very welcome. But is FREE advertising any good? It depends on what kind of Free advertising we are talking about. There are Free and there are FREE Resources. All will be revealed as the days pass by in the meantime here is a list of 5 websites you may want to take note of. You may even have heard of them previously, may even have signed up but got overwhelmed. Go back and login, join up if you need to, go over the Get started tutorials and set yourself up for the best FREE advertising any one could have wished for! Enjoy. 1. AdLand Pro 2. LeadsLeap 3 DirectMatches 4. Viral Url 5. Ad Tactics As for why I have listed just this 5, we shall discuss this in more detail at a future date. All links above are affiliate links I will get credited if you join via this link, so don't be shocked after the event, I'd rather you knew before you took the plunge, though I hope this will not deter you as you will later learn why these are the top ones I've highlighted I probably belong to at least 40 odd sites. These are my top 5 advertising sites.
Did you know that in 2007 a total of 290,000 counterfeit banknotes were removed from circulation and a majority of these were £20 notes.
This is going to be very short, but I did want to send out my apologies to all my readers who have been patient with me over the last 2 weeks of silence. Quite a bit has been happening. Mostly personal stuff that I don't want to bother you with here. I may have to start another blog to deal with personal issues, we'll see about that eventually. But now, just want you to know that this blog Money Marketing Solutions will be up and running as from tomorrow. There are a lot of things going on out there and I would still say to all newbies, that is if you are new to internet marketing and want to get a handle on what is what sign up now for the 30 Day Challenge. It's a good starting point and lets find solutions to making money marketing on the internet.
Apart from the Euro banknotes circulating in the Republic of Ireland, did you know that Ireland was granted the rights to issue its own banknotes and Northern Ireland has taken full advantage of this, they have Bank of England Notes and paper money issued by the Bank of Ireland in denominations of £5,10, 20 and 50. These pound notes have the same value as the Bank of England notes. Now to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Old Bushmills Distilery in county Antrim the new 2008 Irish notes will have an image of the distilery on its reverse. It is believed that yonks before King James granted the Distillery a License in 1608, King Henery's army had been enjoying the whiskey from this legendary distillery. ![]() Zion 5 may have existed a long time ago, but for me its an exciting new find. If you've started to get the hang of Social Networking and you are an Internet Marketer then you should check this out if you don't know about it already. It's neat because its so simply designed to serve the Internet Marketer without clogging up the system. You have a profile page that you build up and then it has 3 basic sections: 1. Building Contacts 2. Sending messages: You get only one a day 3. Promoting your websites: Allowed to list as many as you have including affiliate links on your page. It's cool because if you are the first to list a site then all clicks without a up-line referral in the business comes to your site for credit and referral purposes. Really neat. Go to Zion5 and find out more now.
Since I was unable to make my usual post on Friday about Paper Money Collecting and Banknote Events around the world I've been asking myself the question, "Is this a serious or Fun Blog?" Of course I want it to be a Fun Blog, but it is also serious in nature, as my readers have come to expect to find out what's happening around them in the numismatic field, every weekend as well as other important banknote information on the paper money scene . I failed to bring you this information and I do apologize profusely for my failure. Without wanting to bore you with the personal challenges I am encountering right now, I do need to let you know that I am struggling to get a full hour to spend on Paper Money Collecting now compared to 3-4 hours a couple of months ago. Even this post is being squeezed in between several duties, jobs and chores that I need to get done today. Please bear with me and I shall be back to speed in the next week or two: More success to you my Paper Money Collecting and Banknote readers as you continue to widen the horiz0n and learn about this great hobby.
Having taken a bit of a closer look at the Nigerian Banknotes now in circulation I realize that there are fundamental inconsistencies in the designs and features of these paper money issues. Take a look at these notes now in circulation. Excuse me I do know they are mostly not in good condition, but these are money in cirulation given to be by anybody and everybody while I was home a couple of months ago and believe you me there are other notes in worse condition of wear and tear and misuse still in circulation. These notes are the newest in circulation and mostly polymer notes, they curiously also do not have the Naira sign on them, I wonder why? ![]() These notes are also still in circulation but are the older notes but these have the naira sign on them. Maybe part of the problem is because Nigeria outsources its banknote issue to foreign companies! A big pity since the country really can afford to print its own banknotes. There is apparently an investigation underway, pertaining to corruption in the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company. Some officials have been accused of asking for a huge lump sum of money in order to get the machines needed for Nigeria to start printing its own banknotes. The deals fell through because the money wasn't forthcoming. Now the country spends billions of naira printing Nigerian banknotes overseas.
Now where do I actually start with this one? Internet Marketers and Social Networking depending on whose voicing an opinion will not usually get great reviews. Yet we know that a lot of Internet Marketers are building a healthy income online today, also social networking via the Web 2.0 sites is gaining momentum and allowing a lot of marketers build relationships that would have been impossible to achieve only a couple of years ago. Personally I believe in both and think that this is a great way to be financially independent, free and a fun way to meet people all over the world. Yes there are some weird ones out there, but with a little bit of common sense and caution these few can be kept at bay. I've noticed that Internet Marketers have during the last couple of months exploded on the Facebook hemisphere and started leveraging the traffic in a great way to build their businesses. How? 1. By becoming friends with like minded people or people interested in their niche. 2. By starting groups and offering services to their core niche , and its working. Now its important that you don't just run off and join Facebook just this moment and then start a group just to get in on the action... well you can if you want too, but I'm sure it won't work that well if you don't know what you are doing. What do I mean by this? Well to start with you should have a fair grounding on how to network socially online, if you do this right then the sky is the limit. When you join a social networking site it is important to become part of the community, participate and watch how its members interact with each other, your goal is to build relationships with people, relationships that will last, ones where trust and respect is built up over time. For example when you are requesting for someone to be a friend of yours or contact don't just click the "Add Friend" button, use the message box provided to tell the member a little bit about yourself and why you are requesting for their friendship. Remember first impressions count. It's more time consuming but it will become very invaluable and rewarding in the long run. So these are a few Social Networking Sites of Note: Facebook: This site has had incredible growth in the last few years, it has over 80 million users, and according to "ComScore" is the second most trafficked social media site and the 6th most trafficked site worldwide. People love Facebook, it is a useful tool to keep in contact with family, friend and business associates, a family member I had lost contact with found me on Facebook yesterday! And I've noticed that Internet Marketers are beginning to harness the power of Facebook to build relationships and traffic to their sites. (more about this later). If you are a Marketer and you are yet to get a Facebook Profile then head on there now and sign up. Twitter: Twitter is a cool tool used on the internet to follow friends. They update their profiles as often as they care to and their friends follow by reading about what they are doing. This is a very viral way of spreading news and information on the internet at no cost to you whatsoever. Yuwie: A Social networking site with a difference, as this one earns you money as you get hits to your site and friends visit your page. Yuwie allows you to advertise and promote your internet marketing products and services amongst other things via blogs, groups and buying ad spaces on the site. You do this for free on Facebook and MySpace so why not get paid for your time on Yuwie, its not much but it all add up in the end. DirectMatches: This is a social networking site primarily for business people, that is not to say that other social networking needs are not met, but business is a prime focus. This is a place where business owners, mlm, home based businesses, affiliate marketers, online business owners etc can make contact and advertise their products and services without spamming. There are numerous ways that this site allows you to promote your business, via a profile, building a contact list, blogs, uploading videos, forums, networks, classified advertising, pixel ads, and press releases. This is just a great place to get a push for your products and services. MySpace: If you want to hangout with friends and have fun then MySpace is a good place to be. Mostly this site was used originally by teens and young adults to keep in contact with each other. The site has moved on now and quite a lot of older adults now have profiles on MySpace. Because of the relentless hoards of traffic that visit this site daily you will find that it is a silent money spinning machine if you know what you are doing. Have you got a niche? Search and find a group on MySpace that is interested in your niche, and viola you are in money! So there you have it, just a few social networking sites that Internet Marketers can use to their advantage. Obviously there are loads more and as time goes by we shall be visiting a number of these sites.
Just a fun banknote item with Barack Obama on the face of US Money. If he makes it this will definitely be a first, helps us see reality of what Americans are doing and how different it is from the norm. Though I must say that a lot of fuss has been made about Obama being black, but is he really truly just black? To start with what am I? I am a black woman with dual nationality, born or African parents in Europe over 40 years ago. Luckily for me I've lived in both continents and do not have a nationality crisis. I therefore feel that I can at least use this opportunity to voice my opinion about this great shift in American politics. Its great that America can consider a woman or a black man for the number one job in America. Yet there are fundamental problems with this progression. My reservation stems from the fact that a person of dual race heritage in US is always considered black, when it is a white and black issue by both sides of the coin? My take on this issue is be careful all of you open your eyes wide before you vote!!Anyway the novelty note looks great find up more... read more | digg story

![]() Finally a solution is in sight for the 4 million Americans without bank accounts who have to depend on paper cheques to access their monthly social benefits. The U.S. Department of the Treasury has found a solution and a new Direct Express debit card for social security payments has now been launched in 10 states, this debit card will be available to all shortly as the plan is to roll it out over the nation during the summer months. This is a great step forward as you can imagine how frustrating it is waiting on your social security cheques via the post. Delays in arrival cause so much stress for many families, not to talk about the problem of cashing the cheques through unscrupulous money services who eat up some of the much needed money via commission for the service rendered. 4 million people are now being given an opportunity to start getting their paper money affairs in order and I think this is a great move forward and will help to revive the economy some. Read more about this at The Direct Express Debit Card Launch.
Summer is finally here and there are less Paper Money Events during the week than there has been in the last couple of months. I can across this little radio station dedicated to coin and paper money collectors and wanted to share it with you. There is a radio show broadcast and aired at the top of the hour go to Numismatic Radio and download or subscribe to the podcast. The shows broadcast on the station include interviews on coin and paper money collecting, talking to experts and people involved in auctions, shows and fairs. This seems to be another fun way of keeping abreast what is going on in the paper money collecting field.
